Ahead of MIPCOM, Sky confirmed The Miniature Wife, a U.S. comedy-drama starring Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen, set for release on Sky and NOW in 2026 under Media Res Studio and Sony Pictures Television.

The series follows a woman, played by Banks, who is accidentally miniaturized by a tech error, forcing her husband, portrayed by Macfadyen, to navigate an absurdly redefined marriage dynamic filled with humor and chaos.

Meanwhile, Incredible Film finalized a distribution partnership with Tull Stories for The North, a Dutch-English film that will be released across the UK and Ireland, focusing on friendship, endurance, and emotional reconnection.

The North portrays two men who embark on a 600-kilometer trek through the Scottish Highlands to rekindle their bond, exploring themes of solitude, healing, and the transformative power of nature over 30 days of travel.

Daniëlle Raaphorst, CEO of Incredible Film, emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding globally resonant storytelling through diverse genres, highlighting emotionally rich dramas and inspiring narratives like The North.

At the Dinard British & Irish Film Festival, Paul Andrew Williams’ Dragonfly earned the top award, while The Damned by Thordur Palsson won the Barrière Jury Prize, and Mr. Burton took both Best Actor and the Audience Award.
